UPDATE 3/12/2024: THE ENGINEER ASSESSED THE FOOTBRIDGE TODAY. HE HAS CLEARED US TO DO THE NECESSARY WORK TO UPKEEP THE BRIDGE. IT IS CURRENTLY SAFE TO USE.

The Footbridge walking bridge is currently CLOSED to all traffic, pedestrian or otherwise. There have been structural findings that need to be addressed. Please check back for updates.

UPDATE 2/28/2024: The Town has been in touch with a Professional Engineer and are awaiting his schedule and expertise. THE BRIDGE WILL REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

UPDATE 3/5/2024: The Engineer will be assessing the Footbridge this week or next.

PUBLIC HEARING 5/21/2024

There will be a second informational Public Hearing regarding the formation of an Ambulance District for the Town of Elizabethtown. This meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 21st at 6:00pm, in the Town Hall Boardroom. The regular meeting will follow at 6:30pm. The public is welcome to attend, or virtually via Go To Meeting.
