Household Survey

Elizabethtown requests resident participation in household survey.

The Town is exploring sources of financial aid for constructing the municipal sewer system to serve the existing sewer district. The Town will be conducting a Household Characteristics Survey of residential households in the Sewer district beginning March 30, 2023.

The survey will be used by several funding agencies to determine eligibility for public aid.

Resident participation is vital to maximize the Town's opportunity to receive financial aid to benefit this project. Only residents of the sewer district are being asked to participate.

"Completing this survey will help us lower the costs of delivering services to you. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. You can trust the your responses are completely confidential," said Town Supervisor Noel Merrihew.

When you receive your survey, please fill it out and return it right away in the self-addressed stamped envelope.

"Thanks to a generous donation, we are able to offer several raffle prizes to be selected at random from those who complete the survey. These will include a $50 Stewart's gas card, a $50 gift certificate to the Arsenal Inn, and a $30 gift certificate to Bub's Pizza," said Merrihew.

RAP Solutions, a not-for-profit organization, is helping the town conduct the survey at no cost to the Town. RCAP Solutions is also able to ensure that the survey is completely confidential.

To meet funders' requirements, we need a very high rate of return. If CAP does not receive enough surveys in the mail, town representatives will be going door-to-door to make sure we get the required minimum number of surveys. By getting your survey in early, residents living in the sewer district can avoid having us come to your door.

Only residents of the Town of Elizabethtown living in the sewer district are asked to complete the survey.

If you have any questions please contact the Town at (518) 873-6555.
