Essex County SWCD will be conducting a 4-Hour Erosion Sediment Control and Stormwater training April 1st 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. through zoom.
We will be presenting the workshops in person as soon as it is safe to do so again. All town and county employees are exempt from the $75 cost.

ACAP Color for a Cause Fun Run / Walk at the Cobble Hill Golf Course Sunday, May 19, 2019 @ 9:00 A.M. Rabies Clinic - April 30, 2019 at the Elizabethtown Fire Hall. If you need additional information please all Essex County Public Health (518) 873-3500 Rock and River Guide Service is offering a free Youth Ice Climbing Clinic at Otis Mountain on March 9, 2019. The ideal candidate is 14 years old or older (parents welcome also), but there is some flexibility around age and necessary climbing gear will be provided. The Mountaineer is also hosting a Backcountry Ski Festival on the weekend of March 15-17, 2019 with clinics and guided tours throughout the Park. They will also have demo ski equipment to test, food by Green Goddess, and an avalanche beacon park available at Otis Mountain here in Elizabethtown on the 16th.
